Capital Sprint Game - Rules & Mechanics Summary

1. Fund Initiation

The game begins with an initial capital transfer from the organizer to a selected player. This initiates the capital sprint and starts the game countdown.

2. Internal Circulation Rule

Before capital can leave a department, it must move between at least two individuals within the same department. This encourages intra-team collaboration and ensures active participation.

3. Interdepartmental Transfers

After fulfilling the internal circulation requirement, the capital can be transferred between individuals in different departments. This step fosters interdepartmental cooperation and strategic movement of funds.

4. Time Constraints & Penalties
  • A department must not hold the capital for more than the configured maximum hold time.
  • Failure to move the capital within the given period results in penalties:
    • Department Penalty: Deducted from the total team balance.
    • Individual Penalty: Applied to the individual responsible for the delay.
5. Interest Accrual & Capital Growth

With each movement, the capital increases by the configured percentage. This growth is compounded to encourage frequent transactions and movement.

Example:

  • Initial Capital: $100,000
  • First Transfer: +10% → New Balance: $110,000
  • Next Transfer: +10% of $110,000 → New Balance: $121,000
6. Tracking System

All transactions are recorded in a real-time movement history log, ensuring transparency. Each transfer logs sender, receiver, amount, and timestamp.

7. End-of-Game Responsibilities
  • The individual and department holding the capital at the end of the game are identified.
  • They are required to take responsibility for an organization-wide engagement based on the game objective or decide use case.

These rules ensure an engaging, fair, and strategic gameplay experience while reinforcing teamwork, interdepartmental collaboration, time management, decision-making and accountability through out the game duration..
